American CLEC, the consulting division of Win.Net
Internet, is hiring a Documentation Specialist. This
is an opportunity to gain significant REAL WORLD
experience in the Telecommunication industry and the
Internet business.
This position provides a great opportunity for learning
and professional development. In a course of an average
project the applicant with the assistance of a project manager will:
* Work with the client to compile financial documents as
well as management history
* Create a Corporation and apply to conduct business in
multiple states as necessary
* Work with state regulatory authorities to create a
Competitive Local Exchange Carrier
* Coordinate with BellSouth, Verizon, AT&T, Qwest,
Sprint and our clients in order to provide a myriad of
telecommunication services.
* Apply for industry codes with various state and
federal agencies.
* Perform research for sales
* Update online knowledgebase with all project
documentation.
* Write weekly status reports on each client.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is detail oriented,
organized, and can work with people over the telephone.
Someone who doesn't mind picking up the phone to get a
question answered or pulling up a web site to figure out
a requirement; someone who will take pride in using a
range of skills to achieve professional results for
clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent
organizational skills, proficient with Microsoft Word
and Excel, extensive use of the Internet, the ability to
write professional correspondence, is adaptable to
change, and willing to learn on the fly.
The position is at our headquarters in Louisville, KY.
Schedule:
Weekdays 8AM-5PM
Education:
At least two years of college toward a degree in
English, Communications, Pre-Law, Paralegal, or
Business, with a demonstrable GPA of at least 3.5, or
equivalent experience.
Pay and Benefits:
* $25,000 year
( $24,000 salary + 1,000 in project bonuses)
